This fall, Ford is bringing the hot rod Focus ST to American shores for the first time. With a turbocharged five cylinder engine and 252 horsepower, the ST is certain to be popular with fans of small, fast cars.
In order to show it off, Ford recently closed off roads all around Key West and raced two Focus STs through the streets. Drifting champion Tanner Foust was driving one while stunt driver Greg Tracy was in the other.
While the intent was to film a commercial, Ford didn't have any camera equipment on site. Instead, the commercial they filmed was cut together with footage taken by the crowd.
Looks like it was a fun experience and they ended up with a cool ad. Check it out below (via YouTube):
