A truck carrying syrup overturned on Kentucky's Buttermilk Pike, according to Jalopnik. Yes, syrup on a highway named after an ingredient in delicious pancakes.
It seems that a semi full of "Hungry Jack" syrup collided with two cars, causing the delicious accident. The trailer was sheared open and the syrup spilled all over the highway.
The driver was taken to the hospital on a stretcher. Thankfully, Jalopnik reports that his injuries are not life threatening.
As of right now, there is no evidence that Mrs. Butterworth or Aunt Jemima were involved in sabotaging the truck.
